About me

Earlier in my leadership, I was eager to drive change, achieve set goals courageously and clearly. It was important for me to achieve results in order to be relevant and valuable as a leader. Unfortunately, I did this without understanding that real and sustainable change is achieved by being co-creative together. And that no external confirmation can fill my inner self with true satisfaction and meaning.

As my vision became increasingly demanding to achieve and my motives felt increasingly empty, one day my energy ran out and with it came sick leave. A period of self-examination began, where I realized how empty my motives for external confirmation were and how unsafe it is to have it as the basis for my self-esteem. Slowly the realization grew that my value lies somewhere else and it must be me who decides whether it is valuable.

What grew within me was the realization that what I value most is my contribution to the development of others, and that my intentions outweigh the outcome. If I have good and healthy intentions, that's all I can do, because no matter how much we want to, we can never truly fully decide or control how things will turn out. We can only do our best under the circumstances and with the best intentions.

The deeper insight into where my value lies came over time to develop clearer truths for me.

Like...

True courage is not stubbornly implementing something at any cost - True courage is daring to be authentic, imperfect, and show that I don't have all the answers. Only through co-creation do we create something of importance.

Respect is not about pleasing others and doing everything to make others happy - Respect is about knowing my values and boundaries, communicating authentically from who I am, with the best intention for the development of others.

Doing good is not about satisfaction for an individual in the present - it is about long-term gains in a larger context.

Since then, in my professional life, I have strived to create good results together with others. It has been important to me to do the best work possible with the conditions we have. It requires a good awareness and security to stand firm in it and protect the relationships around us in order to be able to contribute sustainably over time. Of course, it has not been perfect, but in its imperfection it has been instructive.

Awareness of what is important to us and a long-term perspective can sometimes make us act drastically. For me and my family, this meant that in 2024 we chose to move from Sweden to a calmer life in Paraguay. We want to live closer to and from nature, with more space and freedom for individual development and time for our most important relationships, family.

It was obviously a big step, and we have more steps to take to reach where we are aiming, but we are closer today.

My ambition and desire continues to be to contribute to a better contemporary world and to the development of others. Therefore, I coach today from a Mindfulness perspective, to contribute to a greater awareness of how we conduct ourselves in the world and how we can have a greater and more positive impact on our surroundings. In my meetings and dialogues, I deepen my own insight and gain a greater understanding of myself, others and our world. This fulfills me and my insatiable thirst for greater wisdom and understanding of the state of the world.

Specialty

My foundation lies in working life and how we can create good and attractive workplaces and performance environments. But my interest has led me to personal leadership, how we ensure our own well-being, awareness, performance and development.

I have learned that our thoughts shape feelings and behaviors, but we are more than just rational beings who are a product of our thoughts. We have several levels that we must be aware of, we have the subconscious, our emotional life, physical and spiritual levels that interact and create our wholeness.

So what is my specialty? Focusing on the big picture and making sure we are aligned, heart and brain. Sometimes the simple is the answer to the complex. And sometimes the answer is not what is important, but that we move towards greater understanding.
